After surviving her "incident" in the city, Lauren finds herself on a road trip with her best friend Roxy.

As they make their way from the East Coast to the West Coast, Lauren becomes intrigued by the stories she is hearing on the radio.

Thirteen new stories that coincide with the areas that Roxy and her are driving through.  In fact, Lauren realizes these stories may even be signs for her to be aware of during their drive.

As Roxy and her near their destination, Lauren finds herself driving closer to the brink of madness.  If she cannot get a handle on it, this time Lauren may actually go over the edge.

​Dime -  A short story taking a look at an unusual urban legend involving a dime.  Is the dime haunted or cursed?  

Road Kill -  A short story taking a look at how animals can evolve to adapt to their changing environment.

Hobo - A short story about a serial Hobo killer.  Was he a killer of Hobo's or a Hobo that killed?

Cell 42 -  Cell 42 had a nicknamed called the hangman's gallery for a reason.  Maybe God is not the only one who has the final judgement.

Hitch Her - A strange dark eyed girl on the road late at night.  Why is she trying to hitch a ride?  Puts a whole new meaning to the word "hitcher".

Mermac Caverns - A tourist attraction wonder with a dark history no one seems to know or remember.

Witchin' Time -  Four bored teenagers decide to check out Cry Baby Bridge and then see the witch's house afterwards.  They are in for a witchin' time.

Elevator Game -  A new crave has hit the internet.  A game that will take you to an alternate universe that will make you the center of the universe.  What some people so desperately want to be.

Down By The River -  A small town created from the perils of the wild west only to end up with far more consequences.

Recluse -  A bullied recluse who has an unusual bond with recluse spiders.

Shuttering -  Back in the day, a photo could be taken of your loved one who died.  Giving you a memento to cherish. However, sometimes it is hard to let go of your loved one, when a photo is not enough, their soul is what you desire to have until your own dying days. 

Skin Walker -  Native Americans never want to speak of them.  Little is even known about them on the internet.  Perhaps, there is a good reason.  

Trail of Terror -  Two hikers finally find a tour guide who will take them to the gate.  The journey is difficult and who knows if you will come back the same.


BACKGROUND

​White Noise Stories - Volume Two was inspired by a road trip I did with my son from the East Coast to the West Coast.  We traveled the famous Route 66.

After just finishing the first White Noise Volume, I thought the next volume could be based on Lauren hearing White Noise through the radio on a road trip with Roxy.

On the trip with my son, places we passed along with the people we met, gave me plenty of ideas to easily create the second book in the trilogy.

Did I say "trilogy"?  Why yes, I did! I am currently working on the last book of the White Noise Trilogy.  Thirteen new stories will be coming out hopefully by the end of the year.

​I have thoroughly enjoyed writing this trilogy.  I always wanted to write a trilogy but also try my hand at some short stories.  When I first came up with the idea of a short collection, I tried to just throw my stories into a book.

However, I was not happy with it.  I wanted my short stories to have some sort of a connection to one another and yet be able to stand on their own.  

"White Noise" gave me the perfect opportunity to combine the two ideas.  Not to say it hasn't been quite of a challenge coming up with so many different ideas for stories but that was all on me since I wanted to create "13" stories for each book.  Kind of an appropriate number for my genre. :) 

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the next volume in the White Noise trilogy.  And I promise, the next and last book in the series will answer all of your questions you may have about Lauren and her "situation".  Enjoy!

Tammy Vreeland is an expert on telling a tale and leaving you with a lengthy case of goose bumps. White Noise 2 continues Lauren's journey across the US to California closer to her brink of madness. Just when she thought she could trust he life after Vol 1, Lauren now finds she can't trust anyone or anything or even herself. There is to be a third volume. I'm hoping Lauren survives all the White Noise. It definitely does lend more credence to static. // It's also a very interesting slant on being deaf, as I am. I find that often I am plagued by White Noise and other tinnitus type sounds in my deaf ear. I am fortunate not to have Lauren's capability to decipher the noise. Pleasant readings... pleasant dreams.
